How to play

Swipe a symbol onto a neighbouring cell (or tap two neighbours in turn). If 3 or more matching symbols line up in a row or column, they vanish, new ones drop in – and every chain reaction scores more (combo).

Four in a row build a Neon Beam – when it is matched it clears the whole row or column. Five in a row build an XP Core: swap it with a neighbour and every symbol of that kind vanishes. Two XP Cores together clear the whole board.

Resonance Chain & Beat Lane

Every match charges the XP ring. When it is full, tap “Resonance Chain” and drag across at least 4 matching symbols – diagonals allowed, each cell once. The longer the chain, the more points: 700 for four, +250 for each extra. The chain costs no move.

The glowing column is the Beat Lane: matches in it score 30 % more and charge the XP ring faster. It moves on every 5 moves.

Fever: combos, Neon Beams, XP Cores and Resonance Chains fill the Fever bar above the board. When it is full, things light up for 15 seconds – and every line also blasts the four neighbours of its centre.

Music: if a song is playing in the player bar below, the game plays no music of its own. If you listen via the game’s Spotify playlist, the game stays quiet too. Otherwise “You Didn’t Have to Try” plays as an instrumental – and every match sounds in tune with it. Switch music and effects on or off separately at the top of the right-hand column.

The symbols

You play with X-Perience’s own signs instead of gems – including the old X-Perience sigil. Your game, level stars and best scores stay in your browser: stop and carry on later.
